Terms and Conditions

1.  To Book a Unit:  Renters must be 25 years old and hold a valid drivers license.  A rental
    application has to be filled out and signed.  When you return the application, you will
    need to put down a $250.00 reservation/security deposit and provide proof of current
    driver’s license.  The deposit must be made with a check or cash.  We do retain the
    right to run a credit check, due to the liability of renting expensive vehicles.

2.  Reservation/Security Deposit:  All reservation deposits are applied to the unit you pick
    out, there are NO double bookings.  Since we do not double book, the unit is held for
    you.  All cancellations must be made 30 days prior to scheduled departure.  There is a
    $75.00 charge for all cancellations.  On cancellations within 30 days of departure, the
    reservation deposit will not be refunded.  Your reservation deposits will roll over to the
    security deposit and be credited toward total rental cost.  The security deposit will be    
   completely refunded a long as there is no damage, or missing equipment.  The deposit
   will be held until you return.  We have 5 business days to check in the motor home and
   let the customer know the status of our check in.

3.  Pick up Time:  Pick up time, Tuesday thru Friday 10:00 am – 4:00pm.  We will review
    terms and contracts together.  There will be a 1 to 1.5 hour walk thru of the unit, this is
    mandatory.  Before departure you will be allowed all the time you need to note all
    damages that are not yours.  We want to ensure that you are not held responsible for
    damages that are not yours.

4.   All units will be prepped for you prior to pickup, as follows:  *Cleaned inside and out
     *Full tank of gas *Full tanks of propane *Fresh water hose *Sewer hose

5.  Drop off time is Tuesday thru Friday 10:00am – 4:00pm.  Returns after 4:00pm may be
    subject to a late return fee of $25.00 per hours.  After your trip, the unit is to be brought
    back in the SAME CONDITION as when it left.  Cleaned inside and out, gas and
    propane tanks full, water water tanks dumped, and all equipment in the motor home
    or trailer.  We will accomplish these tasks for you if you prefer, at a nominal fee for
    each.

6.  Insurance:  Collision insurance is included in the basic rental rate.  Renter is responsible
    for a $500.00 deductible toward any insurance claim on our motorized units and a
    $250.00 deductible on our tow able units.  Liability coverage is available, for an
    additional charge.  (Awnings and Antennas are NOT covered by insurance!) Renter
    is entirely responsible for all damage to, or loss of vehicle, or loss of use while the
    vehicle is being repaired.  We may repossess the vehicle at your expense without
    notice to you, if vehicle is abandoned or used a violation of law, or rental agreement.
    Renter agrees to defend us, and hold us harmless from all claims, liability, cost and
    Attorney fees we incur resulting from or arising out of, this rental and use of the vehicle.

7.  Breakdowns:  We encourage our customers to call us if they have a problem, at 919-
    222-2277.  Whether is be a simple question you have, or a real concern about the
   operation of the unit.  If a mechanical breakdown should occur, the renter is respon-
   sible to repair the rental vehicle immediately.  Any legitimate repair charges up to
    $200.00 can be made without prior authorization and will be refunded after presenting
    itemized bills.  If the unit is returned with damage while the unit was in the possession of
   the renter, renter is responsible to pay all damage costs whether the renter was at fault
   or not or if damage was caused by acts of nature (Wind, rain, earthquake, fire, flood,
   ect.)  The renter should make every effort to get the disabled vehicle to a reliable RV
   or automotive dealership.  Renter must retain the parts or tires replaced by repair shop.  
   Renter is responsible for blow-outs, flat tires or hubcaps that might come off.  Renter will
   Be held responsible for expenses resulting from his negligence.  If repair about is in
   Excess of $200.00, renter must obtain prior authorization from Seaton Howell of S & M
   Wheelestate State Sale, Inc. via phone.  Selection of collision repair vendors is at the
   sole discretion of S & M Wheelestate Sales, Inc.  S & M Wheelestate Sales, Inc.  is not
  responsible for lost vacation time, hotel charges, car rental, or other cost due to break-
   downs.

8. Payments:  *Security deposit is paid at time of reservation, and the rental is prepaid
   before departure.  *All monies can be paid with cash, travelers checks, personal
   checks and/or certified funds only.  *All personal checks must clear back before unit
   goes out.

9.  Fee Schedule:  *Prices vary depending on which unit you choose.  *3 day minimum
    on rental. (NO REFUNDS ON EARLY RETURNS.)  There are 150 free miles per day
    included in our rates.  You will be charged, .35 per mile over your total miles allotment
    (days X 150) *There are 5 free generator hours per day included.  $5.00 per hour over
    your total generator hours (days X 5).  *$4.50 refueling fee.  *$100.00 delivery fee (up to
    50 miles).  *Cleaning (Class C $100.00) (Travel Trailers $100.00) (Class A $150.00) (upon
    request).  *Tank Dump fee $45.00.  *LP Refill fee $4.50 per gallon.  *Refueling unit $4.50
    per gallon.  

10.  Restrictions:  *No Towing!  *No Smoking!  *No trips to Mexico!  *No roof access!  * Pets
      allowed on select units.
