The majority of the world's coffee is grown in Central and South America. They are known to the trade as Milds - relative to many other coffees, they are mild in character. Known more for their lively taste and good acidity, they are not recognized as being extremely full bodied. Because of their tantalizing aroma, they are wonderful for blending and are often present, at least in part, in the traditional morning brew.
Hawaiian Kona
Grown in volcanic soil on the Captian Cook Estate -- this pricey bean is in demand for it's great acidiy and aroma, and mild taste.
